Since 2002 Mr. Bergonzi has been chairman and principal shareholder of Global Estates, a group of companies involved in real estate development. He has more than 30 years of experience in the real estate market, specifically in Spain but also in France, Italy and Canada and has been directly responsible for the construction of more than 3000 properties.
Alex Porritt is the Founder of Blueberry Lake, which he started in 2003.Alex has managed all aspects of the project including planning, construction, sales and marketing and resort maintenance. During that time, Blueberry Lake has won numerous awards and, despite a remote location half an hour north of Tremblant, has achieved the highest occupancy levels in the Mont Tremblant area.
A principal of SGI Properties Canada; he is the internal legal counsel of the Group. He has 24 years of experience in acquiring, owning, managing, and redeveloping real estate and operating businesses. He served at several Middle Eastern and Canadian law firms in the early nineties.
Mr. Joyal was the founder of Raymond Joyal, one of the Province of Quebec’s largest real estate evaluation and consultancy firms. Mr. Joyal is President & Founder of Morika Capital, a Montreal based investment firm active in real estate ownership, development, finance, and operations.
Jean-Robert acts as Executive Vice President. He is also the Co-Founder of Cape Partners Inc. a boutique private equity firm. Before his involvement with the Company, Mr. Pronovost was a partner and co-founder of a family office venture capital fund and was responsible for direct investments, strategic divestitures as well as restructurings and acted as board member of several portfolio companies.
Mr. Pérez Garcia specializes in mergers, acquisitions, restructurings and spin offs, with a specific expertise in internationalizing Spanish companies, planning and assessing family enterprises and successions within family groups as well as other types of tax assessment projects
Mr. Lathouras served as president of a privately held merchant real estate development company, Destination Land Corporation. Mr. Lathouras was responsible for executing the company’s development strategies encompassing commercial and residential property development, ultimately taking over the Company’s resort-residential development projects in Mont-Tremblant Quebec.
Patrick has been the Finance Director at Blueberry Lake since 2007. Patrick is responsible for the financial management of the company as well as supplier relations. Patrick has over 30 years of experience as a senior manager in finance and operations with a number of large, privately held companies in Quebec.
A British – Canadian Citizen, Warren has worked in the hotel and resort industry for over 25 years. He joined Blueberry Lake in 2006 and has overall responsibility for the running of the Resort. Prior to joining Blueberry Lake, Warren headed up the Italian Property Division for TUI with responsibility for 7 hotels, 35 managed chalets and a number of bars and restaurants.
Michel is a former executive with Intrawest Inc. Michel spearheaded the design, development, and sale of 69 condo-hotel units between 2010 and 2012. M. Beaulieu is a creative and driven entrepreneur. His passion for architecture and design has lead his organizations to win Qualité’s Habitation Country Residence of the year ($500 000$+) 4 years in a row from 2007-2010.
Joseph is a skilled sales professional with a broad range of experiences in different industries and geographies. He started his sales career in a debt collection agency before moving to Los Angeles where he became involved in movie distribution and sales before moving in to hospitality and tourism.
Sidi is responsible for all web development and maintenance at Delma and for Search Engine Optimisation. Sidi has a Masters degree in Computer Sciences from Omsk State University. He speaks five languages – French and Arabic fluently with a solid proficiency in English, Spanish and Russian.
Caroline was born and bred in Quebec, Canada a short distance from our Blueberry Lake Resort, and has a certificate in Administration and business management from the prestigious HEC Montreal as well as an Msc. in Tourism Development. She has been working at Blueberry Lake Resort since 2007 and has acquired a solid experience in resort management and hospitality.
Sabrina has been working in the St-Donat tourism industry for almost 14 years. In the past years, she has developed a solid experience in hospitality management, event management and customer service. She recently joined the Delma Resort team and is enjoying the new challenge of taking care of the Condos du Lac Archambault in Saint-Donat.
Mr. Shawwa has 26 years experience in acquiring, owning, managing and redeveloping real estate and operating businesses. His 25 years of experience in Facilities Management & the real estate sector includes 22 years in Canada and the United States where he oversaw the acquisition of, redevelopment or repositioning, management, leasing, and sale of properties in North America exceeding $800 million in value. He has a total of 3 years local experience in the GCC and is currently based in Abu Dhabi, UAE.
Panos is the key driving force behind the Group’s entry and expansion into Greece. He is member of the Board since 2007 of the Association of Constructors in Western Greece, and is the General manager & Shareholder of Xenios Zeus S.A. Construction Company as well as in Globe Williams International – Western Greece.
An Electric Engineer graduate with MSc, Maki started “B. Vourloumis Constructions” in 1989 in Patras. Maki & his construction company are active in the construction, design and supervision of both private and public sector projects, in several parts of Greece and around the world.
Emma has taken on the role of Head of Business Development and Operations, Spain & France. In this role, she is bringing the best practices learned and honed in setting up Blueberry Lake to Delma Resorts’ two new projects in Alicante & Ibiza. She will be responsible for creating management & operations team from scratch and integrating them in to the Delma Resorts network of international projects.
Fabien is a licensed surveyor, and President of Cameroon Engineering SA, and former President of the National Order of Cameroon Surveyor. He is also a Corporate Member of the International federation of Surveyors (FIG). He is a member of APICAM Professional association of engineering Consultant Companies in Cameroon. In Canada, Fabien founded and is President of Ottawa / Aylmer based DEFI GROUP Inc.
Mousa A Alrubaian created the first reinsurance company Saudi Re in Saudi Arabia, and created Najm motor insurance services company. He also set up an actuarial firm, helped setting up Malath insurance company, a third party medical administrator, a new insurance broker plus other activities. In 2015, he set up his consultancy company MARubaian Consulting Services in Montreal, Canada. Mousa sits on the boards of Samba Financial Group, Saudi Paper Manufacturing Company, and Sociétée Générale Saudi Arabia.
With more than 15 years of experience in international marketing communications, marketing planning and analysis as well as projects implementation, plus expertise in design and measurement of international marketing projects in Latin America, Jorge has recently joined our Group as our International Business Development Director - Latin America.
Renaud was born in São Paulo, Brazil. Co-founder and responsible for the local operations of Paraty Living, he is proud to attend customers and property owners in an ethical and professional manner, based on respect to the community and environment and motivated by the passion of on-going improvement of customers and partner’s satisfaction.
Kinda has a distinguished career as a journalist, writer, translator, and an active member of her Country, City & Community at large. She has a long history with leading media organizations around the World. She is an author of a column in English & Arabic that is published in Canada, the United States, and the Arab World.
